Some questions to ponder this Lenten Season

  • How important is Dignity of San Diego to me?
  • Am I doing as much as I can to help the community in every way I am able?
  • How much would I miss Dignity of San Diego if it ceased to existed?
  • Do I have a tendency to complain about a problem or policy when I could have helped to resolve the issue?
  • Do I really believe there will always be someone else available to do the work of Dignity, if I don't do it?
  • Do I really believe I don't have to do anything at all for Dignity; that I can receive from the community all that I need and I have no obligation to give anything back?

These are just some of the things you could do. You may have ideas of your own. The important thing to understand is that how you respond to this Lenten Challenge is entirely up to you! No one is going to ask you to put your commitment to this community in writing. It is entirely your responsibility to make the commitment and then to follow through on that commitment. I hope you will accept this challenge to make Dignity even better for you and for the entire community!

In and for DIGNITY,

Mike Bekemeier
