A committee of three
(3) chapter members, not currently serving on the Board of Directors
(Community Council) of Dignity San Diego will be presented by the
President of the Chapter for approval by the Board at the first regular
board meeting in their term of office- Each ensuing Board of Directors may
reappoint any or all of the current committee members. It shall be the
function of this committee to make recommendations to the Board of
Directors as to the dispersal of moneys in the fund. The committee, during
its term of service, is encouraged to be watchful for those in the
community who may be in need of food, clothing or shelter. This goal may
also be accomplished through donations to humanitarian organizations.

Funding

All dispersal
of funds shall be approved by the Board of Directors. In the case of an
emergency situation, the three (3) members of the committee and the
President of the Chapter may agree to a dispersal of the funds. The Board
of Directors shall be informed of this emergency dispersal no later than
the next regular board meeting.

The
replenishment of this fund shall be the duty of the Board of Directors. To
aid in the maintenance of this fund, individuals as well as organizations
should be encouraged to contribute to the fund.
