Don
May was born in Detroit Michigan January 28, 1932 to Earl and Marybelle
May. He was the youngest of six children. Don served in the
Navy on the aircraft carrier Champion; taught high-level ballroom
dancing and worked in the funeral industry. Don lived in San Diego
for many years and was an long time active member of the San Diego
Chapter of DignityUSA. Don passed away on October 6, 2006.
In addition to Joe Spinella, his life partner of 15 years, Don is survived
by his son Scott and daughter Leah, 5 grandchildren and 3 great
grandchildren.
